Plain pricing

Pay for the check, not a weak packet.

The $5 property check comes first. If it supports a packet, that $5 is credited toward the $45 remaining packet balance. If it does not, AssessLess tells you not to buy the packet.

$5 property evidence check

The $5 check comes first and is credited toward the $45 remaining packet balance if a packet is supported.

$45 supported-packet balance

If the check supports a packet, the original $5 check applies toward the $45 remaining packet balance.

$50 total self-file appeal packet

A packet is offered only when the check supports one. If the support is weak, AssessLess tells you not to buy it.

If the evidence is weak, stop.

A stop result is not a trick or a failed checkout. It means the current evidence does not support a useful packet, so AssessLess should protect you from paying for one.

An unsupported result is useful because it explains what was checked, what is missing, and what could change the result. A separate optional evidence summary can help you understand the stop signal, but it is not an appeal packet and it does not open packet downloads.

What you can do before payment

Before packet purchase, the flow can confirm the property, read an accepted official PDF, show what is missing, and explain whether the next step is no-buy, more context, or a supported packet recommendation.

Check deadlines yourself.

Deadline, form, and filing-channel facts can change. Start early, use current official county instructions, and verify the filing deadline before relying on any packet.

AssessLess does not confirm, extend, or track your filing deadline for you.

Support and refund posture

Support helps with access, uploads, missing information needed before a packet, packet-generation retries, and delivery problems. If paid delivery still fails after retry, the remedy is refund support — not an incomplete packet.

Support uses the same small record set: status labels, redacted support notes, and owner-reviewed refund decisions when paid delivery fails.

Support does not include filing, county contact, appeal strategy, legal advice, tax advice, representation, deadline confirmation, or any guaranteed reduction.
